Terms and Conditions – Vhazhu

Welcome to Vhazhu (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using www.vhazhu.com, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Nature of Platform

Vhazhu is a multi-vendor online marketplace operating in Zimbabwe. We provide a platform that connects customers with independent vendors who list and sell products through our website.

Vhazhu does not manufacture, own, or directly supply the products sold by vendors, except where explicitly stated. Vendors are independent sellers responsible for their listed products.

2. Orders & Payments

All payments are processed securely through Paynow or other approved payment providers.

By placing an order, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete delivery details
• Pay the full order amount, including applicable delivery fees
• Accept communication regarding your order status

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order in cases including but not limited to:

• Pricing errors
• Suspected fraudulent activity
• Vendor stock unavailability
• Technical errors

If an order is cancelled after payment, a refund will be processed according to our Refund Policy.

3. Delivery & Fulfilment

Vhazhu operates a centralized fulfilment system with warehouses currently located in:

• Harare
• Gweru

Fulfilment Process:

1. The vendor is responsible for delivering the packaged product to the designated Vhazhu warehouse.
2. Upon arrival, the item is scanned, verified, and processed.
3. Vhazhu arranges last-mile delivery to the customer’s address.

Delivery timelines begin once the product has been received and scanned at our warehouse.

Delivery Terms:

• Delivery fees depend on the customer’s location.
• Cross-city deliveries may attract additional charges.
• Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to operational factors.
• Customers must be available at the delivery address.
• If the customer is unreachable, re-delivery charges may apply.

Vhazhu is not responsible for delays caused by vendors failing to deliver items to the warehouse on time.

4. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors are fully responsible for:

• Product quality
• Accurate descriptions
• Correct pricing
• Stock availability
• Proper packaging
• Timely delivery of packages to the warehouse

Vhazhu is not liable for defective or misrepresented products but may assist in dispute resolution between customers and vendors.

5. Refunds & Returns

Refund and return eligibility depends on:

• The nature of the product
• Vendor-specific return policies
• The condition of the returned item

Perishable goods (including food and groceries) may not be eligible for return unless defective or damaged.

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method used at checkout.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vhazhu shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses
• Delays caused by traffic, weather, or operational constraints
• Vendor misconduct or product defects
• Incorrect information provided by customers

Our liability, where applicable, shall not exceed the value of the order in question.

7. Account Use

Users agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Engage in abusive behavior toward vendors or drivers
• Attempt fraudulent transactions
• Interfere with the platform’s operation

Vhazhu reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Commission Structure

Vhazhu charges a commission of 11% on each successfully completed order processed through the platform.

The commission is calculated based on the total product value of the order, excluding delivery fees unless otherwise specified.

9. Automatic Deduction

The 11% commission is automatically deducted before the vendor’s earnings are reflected in their available balance.

Vendors receive the remaining amount after commission deduction.

10. Payment Processing Fees

Any third-party payment processing charges (including but not limited to Paynow transaction fees) may be deducted from vendor payouts where applicable.

Vhazhu reserves the right to adjust processing deductions if required by payment providers or regulatory changes.

11. Changes to Terms

Vhazhu reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Continued use of the website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
